CLIENT TESTIMONIALS

Esther has been tutoring our 7-year-old daughter in reading for about half a year, and we have noticed such changes! Our daughter’s reading scores have improved substantially during that time. But more important, our daughter looks forward to her time with Esther and is growing to like reading. Esther’s patient and warmhearted attention has won our daughter’s respect and affection, which has created a fun and positive learning environment, which has turned on our daughter’s learning switch. Esther is amazing.

Mrs. O’Loughlin is an incredible teacher, tutor and person! As a second grader my son, began noticing that some of his reading and writing skills were not quite the same as his peers’.  Beth O’Loughlin began meeting with him once a week and we quickly noticed substantial growth in handwriting, organization, fluency and vocabulary.  In addition to advancing academically we have also seen an improvement in confidence and attitude.  Mrs. O’loughlin is adept at getting our son to perform (even on harder days) and she brings out the best of his abilities.  My son is challenged to grow, encouraged to try new things and celebrated during every session.  To top it all off, our son thoroughly enjoys his time with Mrs. O and looks forward to tutoring!

My daughter struggles with large group instruction and often misses critical information. Her self esteem had taken a hit after starting 3rd grade and was feeling discouraged about not being able to tell time. After ONE session with Beth, she had it down. Mrs O’Loughlin uses her vast teaching experience to figure out which learning modality speaks to each student. She listens and makes kids feel heard. Beths’s enthusiasm for learning was contagious, and just a few hours a week of targeted instruction changed everything.
